Ship us your trophy!
Packaging your bird for shipment
- Step 1 - Contact us to tell us about your plans to ship your bird. We want to get a picture and any other information of how you want your bird mounted sent with your bird.
- Step 2 - Make sure your bird has been stored in a 1- or 2-gallon zip lock bag, sealed and frozen solid
- Step 3 - Purchase a shipping cooler container like in the below Shipping Container section link.
- Step 4 - Purchase at least 2 disposable gel ice packs and freeze.
- Step 5 - Put the frozen bird in the shipping container, wrapped with newspaper or some type of insulation where it fills the shipping container with bird in the center to give is no room to move. (Add frozen ice packs to bottom and top of bird before wrapping in insultation)
- Step 6 - Print out a Federal Migratory Bird Toe Tag, fill it out for each bird in container completely and place on top of insulation in shipping container & apply top. (click link below in next section for Toe Tag)
- Step 7 - Tape lid on the container with duct tape good so it will stay sealed then put in cardboard box and seal box good.
- Step 8 - Ship box either by UPS or FedEx and it is important to follow the below instructions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- ONLY SHIP UPS OR FEDX; ONLY SHIP ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY; ONLY SHIP OVERNIGHT, NEXT DAY MAIL OR PRIORITY MAIL !!!!DO NOT SHIP USPS!!!!
Print off the below tag and fill it completely out for each bird and put inside box with bird to ship.
Shipping Container
You can go to Amazon and purchase a shipping cooler large enough to store your duck with insulation or newspaper and several disposable ice packs.
Shipping back to you
We will contact you to let you know when your mount is ready to be shipped. Full payment amount is due before the mount is shipped. Shipping cost can vary based on size and weight of package. Normally between $20-$50. Please add return address where your mount will be shipped. We will not be responsible for lost, stolen or damaged products.
